Hello everyone!!!
According to the information that I´ve already read about Webquest, It explain that Webquest is an academic activity which the teacher stablish for Ss. Ss has to investigate from the Internet on web pages which teacher has provided them. This investigation about a problem, allow Ss to develop their critical thinking in order to analyze, understand, convert, create, evaluate, etc. after that, This investigation will culminate when Ss create a web page in which they will publish the result. Also this activity is develop by teams as Teacher wants.
I think, this activity is very interesting because it allow us to develop our critical thinking and that´s no common in most of the Ss, besides Ss will develop their imagination. Also we can search the information from the Internet wherever we are.
And the other hand, most of the Webquest are not designed to meet your specific educational goal, besides it takes a lot of time when is the first time.

ResponderEliminarAs you wrote your article I also think this is a good way to teach students learn by theirselves and the key word in all this deal is "THINK" because students have to do it and not just copy the first text they find, they have to analyza and create their own concept and then conclude the task.

Also I think tha WebQuest increase students motivation to learnt and improve skills.

ResponderEliminarYou stole my picture!! haha NTC. I do not agree at all with WebQuest. I like the way you think about using internet for student, but you think that this work in Mexico? I do love my country but I think our culture is lazy; most of the students copy and paste when they "investigaete" about any topic. However, I also belive that students learn a bit more by theirselves.
